The Operational Side of CMMC: What We’ve Learned from Real Implementations

T CSEastRoundtable Tom

A lot of CMMC discussions focus on what the requirements say. I’m more interested in what happens when you actually try to implement them.

At CS5 East this October, I’ll be facilitating the roundtable “The Operational Side of CMMC: What We’ve Learned from Real Implementations” at Table #10.

We’ll dig into the practical side of CMMC, including the implementation challenges teams run into, the decisions that create downstream problems, and the lessons that tend to emerge once the work moves from planning into day-to-day operations.

That’s where a lot of the real value is. Not just understanding the requirement, but understanding how to make it work in your environment.

Kelly Hood will also be leading a roundtable at Table #2 on the transition from NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2 to Rev. 3 under the new FAR CUI Rule.

If you’re at #CS5East, come find us at the roundtables.
